Where to buy the Jordan Pass
You can buy the Jordan Pass with a Visa or Mastercard Credit Card on the official website. Here you will find all the ins and outs and you can also find a downloadable map showing all locations.
At checkout you will have the option to add two additional attractions. Bethany Beyond the Jordan; This World Heritage Site is accepted as the baptismal site of Jesus, making it one of the most important Christian sites in the Holy Land. If you order the ticket directly, it costs 8 JD (€10). The ticket will cost 12 JD (€15) when you purchase it on site. You can also reserve a place for the Train Ride Adventure (Journey Through 1916) for free. The train travels through the desert of Wadi Rum and ends with actors reenacting the Great Arab Revolt. Choose the date that you wish to be onboard the train and reserve your seats.
How much does the Jordan Pass cost
When you purchase the Jordan Pass you get three different options. The only difference is how many days in a row you can enter Petra.

Why the Jordan Pass
Because it’s actually a really good deal. Entrance fees and activities can be quite pricey in Jordan. For example, the entrance fee to Petra is 50 JD just for one day. Entrance to Wadi Rum is 5 JD and a visit to Jerash costs 10 JD. Also, the tourist visa, which can be bought at the airport, costs 40 JD. At this point you have already spent 105 JD (about 135 euros). While the most expensive Jordan Pass, Jordan Expert, has all this included and only costs 80 JD (about 102 euros). This way you can easily pay in advance for access to more than 40 attractions in Jordan at an excellent price. Moreover, your visa is arranged immediately. Save the QR code in a handy place on your phone and walk directly to the entrance. This way you don’t have to stand in line to get a separate ticket.
What conditions are there?
Once you purchase the Jordan Pass, you have essentially already paid in advance for more than 40 attractions, including Petra. Simply show your Jordan Pass at the entrance of any attraction covered by the Pass. Make sure you always take your passport with you, you may be asked for it for inspection.
The Jordan Pass is valid for twelve months from the date of purchase. But it expires automatically after two weeks from the first time it is scanned at one of the attractions. If you purchase the Pass before arriving in Jordan and stay for at least three nights, you will also receive your tourist visa without extra cost.
